MOTIVATION MONDAY!

It's been an awesome couple of months watching my man slim down,
but more than that - it's been awesome watching him come ALIVE again!

For several years my husband has struggled with his weight.
Going from program to program he began to lose all hope of ever
seeing his youthful figure again.
When we were introduced to the Drops Program
my husband was EXCITED!
For the first time in a long time he had
HOPE!

On Wednesday I will share some of the keys to his success.
Today I just wanted to share little tidbits of encouragement.

FIVE THINGS THAT MOTIVATE MY HUSBAND
1) It is DOABLE...this diet is so simple he knew he could do it!
2) There is always a change when he stepps on the scale. He never dreads it!
3) Clothes he set aside because they were too small are suddenly too big!!!
4) Jaunts up the hill on the farm no longer hurt his knees.
5) His jeans have started fitting properly and now he needs to get a longer inseam.

This is not meant to come across negative. It's really true though...
You can stay miserable and feel miserable or
you can take action and do what is going to improve your quality of life.
The CHOICE is YOURS!

If you ever want to chat more about the drop program or request more information

The Fit Farmer's Wife

THIS IS MY FARMER...

AND I AM HIS WIFE!

For 25 years we've been living life in many phases, stages and geographic locations.
We raised four beautiful daughters, have three gorgeous grandchildren and are now empty nesters.
We are young at heart and crazy enough to think that we can move out on the farm
and make a go of starting a small farm in the middle of nowhere.

That's the farmer part of the story.
So, why FIT farmer?

Well, with life comes ups and downs. It wasn't easy, it wasn't always roses.
We took the good with the bad but with the bad came some depression, stress eating and such.
In turn it added up to a spare 45 pounds.
Lugging around an extra 45 pounds can take its toll on a body -
so my slightly fat fit farmer decided to do something about it.

There were several weight loss programs tried
but they all seemed to take off the weight
then it came back 2 fold.
What's a guy to do?

Cue a new wonder and a new lease on life.
To keep this short, I will simply say that my once "fat" (obese according to the weight app) farmer
is becoming more fit everyday!
Phase 2 started February 1, in 28 days he lost 27 pounds. Excellent numbers.
Phase 3 he maintained his loss and lost a couple more.
Back to Round 2 Phase 2...we are starting again.
Only this time...the Fit Farmer's Wife is joining him!

On this blog I hope to share our journey to health and wholeness.
I will be sharing tons of savory P2 and P3 approved recipes.
Tricks and Tips to successfully maneuvering the program.
And MORE...

Looking forward to having you join us!!
